Top 5 Tips for Responsible Wildlife Viewing

Responsible Wildlife Viewing

Seeing animals in their natural habitat is thrilling, but it's vital to do so responsibly.

  1. Keep Your Distance: Use binoculars or zoom lenses. Never approach or feed wildlife.
  2. Be Aware of Your Surroundings: Especially in bear country. Make noise while hiking.
  3. Store Food Properly: Use bear-resistant containers and never leave food unattended.
  4. Drive Safely: Obey speed limits and watch for animals crossing roads, especially at dawn and dusk.
  5. Leave No Trace: Pack out everything you pack in.

Respecting wildlife ensures both their safety and yours.
